Books take time to write. I know it should go without saying, but in today's market where some authors are able to put out books with lightning speed, there has been a big push for faster production in the independent publishing realm.
Some authors can do this quickly, and I give kudos to any that can pull off the hat trick of writing, publishing, and marketing an entire series in one year. Publishing books at a speed to match Amazon's algorithms and stay on top of the chart often means publishing titles consecutively keeping no more than a 90 day window between releases.
At an average of 80k words per book, that's a pretty tall order. It's not just writing involved. There are levels of revision, beta reading, layout, cover art design, etc... that all go into the production phase. Not to mention time to set up marketing and print runs (for those who do offer print editions).
So when I say I've been hard at work (and very much silent about what I am doing) for the last 6 months or so, it is not because I am ignoring my readers. You are the reason I keep doing this. Rest assured, I've been working my fingers to the bone to produce something that is worthy of your time to read.
With all that out of the way, let me show you the first look at the latest Supernatural Adventure series I've been so secretive about.
