In my last post I mentioned that authors are almost required
these days to buy ad space to get their books in front of readers who already
have TBR piles flooded with one-click freebies and $0.99 sale books. But, where
do you go and how do you spend your advertising dollars? There are literally
hundreds of places to spend your money with almost no guarantee it will be
worth it.
Here’s a (by no means complete) list of the sites I have
frequented in the recent past with mixed results. Price, potential advertising
reach, and genre are all things that need to be taken into consideration. Also,
if you have some places to add to this list, please do so in the comments
below!
